Spiral Sheath
About “Spiral Sheath”
Since the first prestressed concrete construction method was adopted in Japan in 1952, there has been a remarkable development.
At the same time, “Spiral Sheath” has been widely used as PC steel sheathing material for bridges, buildings, roads, aircraft runways, swimming pools, tanks, and other PC structures, and is manufactured and used in large quantities.
“Spiral Sheath” are polymerized spiral wound tubes manufactured using a unique method.
The manufacturing method uses steel strips of 20 to 100 mm in diameter and 0.25 to 0.5 mm in thickness, and the ends of the steel strips are overlapped and secured together while spirally wound. The overlapping portion, which plays a particularly important role in maintaining strength, is made by overlapping four pieces of steel strip and then pressing them together in a jagged pattern.
Our “Spiral Sheath” are produced under integrated production control, from manufacturing to packing and transportation, based on the principle of quality first.
Other Products
In addition to spiral sheath, our main product line, we also manufacture bridge-related products, various metal products, and fabricated products.
